The Center for Innovations in Business and Management Practice (based in London, UK) is organizing the CIBMP Research Summer School, which gives an opportunity to researchers and students in all stages of research to get expert help and advice.  The summer school will enable you to get knowledge on both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, as well get an in-depth understanding about the various stages of the research process.  All aspects of the research will be covered starting from planning the research, to conducting the literature review, to the defense of the thesis itself, as well as career planning.

The summer school is a place for students and researchers from all areas of business & management as well as social sciences to get together and get an in depth knowledge from the experts in the field. Moreover, the summer school allows students to meet their peers in universities from around the country.

This workshop will enable students to examine their position and determine where they stand. It will provide the opportunity to revisit the rationale for their search and understand why this pursuit can be found with information comprising or numbers or values. We will focus on how to manage data and interpret it to find explanations to our questions.

Habib Khan, PhD. Professor Khan holds a Masters and a PhD degree from Harvard University.  He has more than three decades of rich experience in international education development. He is one of the pioneers of Educational Management Information Systems (EMIS), and the use of GIS in decision making.  He has taught in a number of universities across the globe, including Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government. Prof. Khan is a PhD supervisor (advisor) and an examiner. Furthermore, he has run and managed numerous research projects for various international organizations all across the globe.

Osman Khan, PhD.  Dr. Osman Khan has a PhD from the University of Bradford in the United Kingdom.  He is also a fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK).  Currently he is working as the Director of MBA Programs at the Royal Docks Business School, at the University of East London. He has recently published three books on CEM, and Customer Loyalty at the European Center for Best Practice Management. He is also on the Judging panel for the UK Customer Experience Award, Customer Service Training Award and the UK Theme Park & Visitor Attraction Award.  Moreover, he is actively engaged in conducting research and consulting work.  He is on the editorial board of four international journals, as well as on the board of directors of three international firms.

Hatem El Gohary, PhD.

Dr. Hatem El-Gohary is the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Online Marketing (IJOM), Associate Editor of International Journal of Customer Relationship Marketing and Management (IJCRMM) and the UK Director for the Institute for Research on Global Business (IRGB – UK). He have more than 19 years of experience in academia, worked as the marketing director of a multinational company as well as a marketing consultant for a number of national and multinational companies. His research interest include: Electronic Marketing, Electronic Business, Electronic Commerce, Internet Marketing and Small Business Enterprises. He has published several articles and book chapters and presented several research papers in various international conferences. He holds a PhD, MSc, MRes, PGDip, BSc as well as PGCHE. He is also a Certified E-Marketer (CeM), Certified Social Marketing Associate (CSMA), an AABPP Fellow, HEA Fellow, CIM member (MCIM), Chartered Marketer, CMI Fellow and has a significant record of experience in voluntary work in Egypt and the UK. With regards to awards and honours Dr. El-Gohary won: The Routledge Best Paper Award 2007, The American Academy of Business and Public Policy Best Paper Award 2009, The Birmingham City University Business School Best Paper Award 2011, the Ideal Student for Cairo University Award 1992, the Ideal Student for Cairo University Business School Award (twice for the years 1991 and 1992) as well as The SLED Best New Mentor Award 2007. Moreover, he has been awarded an Honorary Life Membership in UBU


The fee for the conference is Rs. ___ per participant.  This includes workshop reading material, certificate from the center, teas, and lunches during the conference.  The fee does not include accommodation.  Discounts are available where 5 or more individuals register together.
