The maiden edition of the Sub-Sahara Africa Upstream Oil & Gas Summit & Exhibition is scheduled to hold in Accra, Ghana from 21-23 October 2020 with theme “Unlocking Potentials in sub-Sahara Africa Upstream Oil & Gas”. The summit is being organized by Zenith Professional Training (ZPT), a firm with several years’ of building oil and gas capacity through industry specialized trainings in the oil and gas sector. Listed on the UK register of learning providers (UKRLP), ZPT is based in London and is accredited by British Accreditation Council (BAC) as a short course provider with offices in Lagos and Accra.
The main objective of this summit is to bring to fore those little things we all gloss over in Sub- Sahara Africa Oil and Gas Industry. Every now and then we all focus on the big agenda and in the process we often lose sight of the known but un-acknowledged potentials in our back garden. This summit is therefore aimed at UNLOCKING POTENTIALS IN SUB SAHARA AFRICA UPSTREAM OIL AND GAS.
African countries contribute a sizeable share of the global reserves and production of Oil and Gas, whether it is Nigeria’s huge gas reserve or her numerous marginal fields, from the abundance of oil and gas in Angola to emerging opportunities in Ghana and Cote d’Ivoire in West Africa as well as new opportunities in East Africa’s Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda down to Sudan; it will be difficult for key players in oil and gas exploration and production to ignore Sub-Sahara African countries for decades to come.
