Focus and Scope

The International Journal of Innovations in Business is a global journal dedicated to the dissemination of knowledge and research within all areas of business and management. The journal is geared towards international business scholars, researchers, as well as practitioners.   The journal is open to all areas of business and management, including but not limited to: Accounting, Banking, Economics, Finance, Human Resource Management, Information Systems, Information Technology Management, Management, Marketing, Negotiations, Organization Behavior, etc. The Journal publishes empirical, theoretical, and conceptual papers and encourages all types of methodologies.

Peer Review Process

Many journals take many months, even years to publish research. By the time papers are published, often they become outdated. CIBMP does not want to fall in the same trap, and wishes to publish papers in the shortest possible time, without compromising on quality. This will ensure that the latest research is published, allowing readers to gain maximum benefit.

Publication Frequency

Initialy IJIB will be published once every two/three months depending on the number of articles submitted.  Once we have a larger volume of quality papers, we plan on increasing the frequency to publishing the journal on a monthly basis.  Moreover, we will also be published special issues.

Open Access Policy

To make knowledge available to the maximum number of people, CIBMP has decided to have an open access philosophy. This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. Under this philosophy, CIBMP will not charge for the access of its journals. This will ensure that a large percentage of students, scholars, researchers and practitioners will be able to benefit from the research published through CIBMP. Moreover, this process will also enable authors’ papers to receive a higher ranking. A greater number of people being able to access and consequently refer to papers will mean a higher referral and impact factor for papers.

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...

Paper Publishing Fee

To ensure that a maximum number of people can access your papers, we do not charge subscription fee.  Consequnelty to cover our administrative and review expenses we charge authors who have papers accepted a paper publication fee of £300 ($450, or Euro 375).  Discounts are available for deserving candidates.
